DUI DOG Rally
|

From August 20-22, divers in the Pacific Northwest are in for a treat: DUI is bringing its famous DOG Rally & Demo Tour to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, Oregon. For just $40 – the proceeds of which will go to the aquarium's volunteer diving program – you'll be professionally fitted with a DUI drysuit and make two dives in the aquarium's three giant ocean pools, enjoy a bbq lunch and get a DUI Test Diver hat. There's also an Eco Snorkeling Program ($50, limited tickets available) as well as an Underwater Digital Camera Workshop ($85 for aquarium members; $100 for nonmembers) on Friday; and on Saturday night, divers can attend the dinner at the aquarium ($20), which includes private access to the exhibits after the aquarium has closed. What's more, Scuba Diving's Editor, David Espinosa, will be in attendance at the Newport DOG Rally to discover that divers can indeed be warm in waters below 82 degrees F.
