NASA astronaut John Grunsfield is no stranger to exploration; with 5 space shuttle flights and over 58 hours of spacewalking under his belt, he has built up quite the adventure resume. On a recent dive trip with Mike Ball Dive Expeditions, Grunsfield and his family had the chance to explore Osprey Reef - "an adventure of a different kind." With Captain Trevor at the helm of the Spoilsport, they embarked on journey across the Coral Sea. On Dec. 10, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park will be turning 50 years old - and that's cause for celebration. This famous marine reserve is the first undersea park and part of the only living coral reef in the continental United States.
