Travelers in chilly Denver and Chicago got a brace of good news when Continental Airlines announced that, beginning February 17, 2011, it will operate daily nonstop flights between Chicago O'Hare International Airport and Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) and West Palm Beach (PBI), Florida; and between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Ft. Lauderdale. "These flights will offer Chicago and Denver travelers convenient access to the beaches of South Florida," said Jim Ferea, Continental's managing director of domestic planning. "They will also give South Floridians additional options for reaching the Mile High City with connections to Colorado's world-class ski resorts."
