John Driscoll Joins Bonnier Corp. as Vice President of Corporate Sales

John DriscollVeteran sales and marketing executive John Driscoll is Bonnier’s new vice president of corporate sales. Driscoll brings more than two decades of sales and marketing experience to the position, including 15 years in the publishing industry. Driscoll held a variety of positions during the course of a long tenure at Car and Driver and Road & Track, ultimately serving as SVP, chief brand officer and publisher.

Chris Phillips Named Publisher of SKI, Skiing and Skiing Business

Chris PhillipsChris Phillips is the new publisher of Bonnier’s Mountain Group, which includes SKI, Skiing and Skiing Business. Phillips, a Colorado native, comes to Bonnier following nearly a decade in sales and marketing at some of the region’s top lifestyle and enthusiast publications. Most recently, Phillips was director of sales and marketing for Colorado AvidGolfer (CAG), a media company and magazine with a readership of more than 560,000.

Caribbean Travel + Life Wins TV AwardJust last newsletter, we told you that Field & Stream’s Total Outdoorsman Challenge‚ produced by our Warren Miller division‚ won two Telly awards. We can now add three more for Bonnier. Caribbean Travel + Life’s Best of the Caribbean St. Lucia episode won a best television program Telly award‚ while Florida Travel + Life’s Affordable Luxury and Sport Fishing TV were honored with bronze awards.

SKI’s Greg Ditrinco Lauds the “Monet of the Mountains” on NBC

Greg DitrincoWhen NBC Nightly News profiled map trailblazer Jim Niehues, whose hand-painted mountain panoramas are used as trail maps for skiers around the world, it looked to SKI’s Greg Ditrinco for his expert insight on these map masterpieces. Ditrinco gives Niehues high praise for his one-of-a-kind maps, which he says are as integral to skiing as snow.
