Mark Wildman Named New Head of The Parenting Group
Bonnier Corp. CEO Terry Snow announced today the appointment of Mark Wildman as the new Vice President, Group Publisher of The Parenting Group. Wildman, currently heading up sales and marketing on a corporate level for Bonnier, will transition to one of the company’s top properties. The Parenting Group includes the brands Parenting Early Years, Parenting School Years, Babytalk and Conceive, plus the highly engaged digital unit Parenting.com.
“Mark’s success at driving revenue and delivering innovative advertising programs translates well for this competitive market,” Snow says. “His credibility in the advertising community will only enhance the achievements we have seen with our mom-focused brands and platforms.”
Wildman joined Bonnier in 2009 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales & Marketing. During this time, he has strengthened corporate sales by developing multibrand, multiplatform programs across Bonnier’s sizable portfolio of titles.
Prior to joining Bonnier, Wildman was a vice president at Reader’s Digest and a Condé Nast executive director. He established the integrated sales and marketing group for the Food & Entertaining affinity on his arrival at Reader’s Digest in 2007. Wildman quickly built a team that led to successful initiatives with high-profile clients including Nestlé, Gallo, Toyota, Kraft and Anheuser-Busch.
In his role as executive director at the Condé Nast Media Group, Wildman developed and sold integrated cross-platform programs across all client categories, including the highly successful Grey Goose/Sundance Channel Iconoclasts partnership and Lexus’ The Road to Innovation series with Charlie Rose.
