Bonnier Bonding: Weldon Owen and Field & Stream Team Up for New Book
Weldon Owen and Field & Stream have teamed up for a new book, The Total Outdoorsman Manual. This is the first time the two Bonnier business units have collaborated on a book project.
Anthony Licata, Field & Stream editor-in-chief, told MIN, the trade newsletter that covered the book launch, that The Total Outdoorsman Manual is the “essence of Field & Stream” because, as he wrote in the book’s foreword, “The more that you can do, the more fun you will have.”

Bonnier Boosts Digital Subscription Offerings on iPad with Popular Photography
Bonnier Corp. is expanding its digital offerings for the iPad, adding a subscription option for Popular Photography magazine. This is the second Bonnier title available as a digital subscription, joining Popular Science, which was one of the first magazine subscriptions available in February.
Popular Photography is launching its subscription service on iPad with a limited-time sale price of $14.99 per year for 12 issues.

Herb McCormick Returns to Cruising World as Senior Editor
Award-winning marine journalist Herb McCormick has returned to Bonnier Corp.’s cruising title. McCormick, who headed the magazine from 2000 to 2005, will now be responsible for creating and editing content, representing the magazine at boat shows and industry events, writing boat tests and assisting with the magazine’s industry-leading Boat of the Year program, all as senior editor.

Working Mother’s Suzanne Riss: Treat Your Kids Like Co-workers
It might sound odd at first, but there are benefits to treating your children like employees. Suzanne Riss, editor-in-chief of Working Mother, appeared on Philadelphia’s Fox affiliate to explain how the skills you’ve developed at work can be translated at home. She also shared other good parenting tips, including taking time to listen to your kids and praising their successes.
