Bonnier’s Outdoor Group Kicks Off 2011 with Great Success
Field & Stream Bonnier’s outdoor brands are kicking off the new year with a bang — posting great print and online numbers. Coming off a strong 2010, the brands are continuing their upward trajectory with Field & Stream up 61 percent and Outdoor Life up 60 percent in 2011 print ad pages.

Outdoor Life The brands’ websites have been keeping pace as well, coming off a year in which both fieldandstream.com and outdoorlife.com were up significantly in unique visitors and revenue. Fieldandstream.com is up 34 percent in unique visitors from January 2010 and will end January beating revenue budget by 40 percent. Outdoorlife.com is up 41 percent in unique visitors from January 2010 and will end January beating revenue budget by 13 percent.

Bonnier Gets the Gold in FOLIO’s Eddie and Ozzie Awards Six Bonnier Corp. titles took home gold in FOLIO’s Eddie and Ozzie Awards, which recognize the best in magazine editorial and design excellence. Field & Stream, Parenting and Saveur all won Eddies, while TransWorld Business and TransWorld SNOWboarding won Ozzies. Outdoor Life nabbed both an Eddie and an Ozzie. Other Bonnier titles also placed in this prestigious competition.

Bob Bauer: New Publisher of Yachting
Bob Bauer: New Publisher of Yachting Yachting magazine has promoted Bob Bauer to publisher. Bauer has been with the luxury watercraft title for nearly two decades, the last three as Yachting’s advertising director. He replaces Ed Baker, who has been promoted to head the nonendemic sales for Bonnier’s newly formed special interest group that includes the marine division.

New Look, Mission for Working Mother Working Mother has unveiled a cover-to-cover redesign, developed to provide today’s smart, busy working mom with the information and insight she needs to manage her time, create better balance between work and family, and simplify her life. The new architecture of Working Mother reflects the structure of a working mom’s daily life, divided into “Morning,” “Day,” “Evening” and “Weekend” sections.

Kourtney and her son, Mason, appeared on the cover of Parenting Early Years’ February 2011 issue.
