Ana Connery and Rachel Fishman Feddersen to Head New Editorial Model for Parenting Group
Bonnier Corp.’s Parenting Group has restructured its editorial management team to focus on greater brand consistency across its multiple print and digital media platforms for moms. The group’s editorial content development will be led by co-directors Ana Connery, who will assume the role of director, print content, strategy & design, and Rachel Fishman Feddersen, who will become director, digital content, strategy & design.
Oprah Magazine Art Director Joins the Team
The Parenting Group has also named Hervé Kwimo as the creative director. He will oversee the editorial design of each of the Parenting Group brands. Kwimo joins the Parenting Group from O, The Oprah Magazine, where he served as art director.

Bonnier’s Second Launch on the iPad — Popular Photography
Popular Photography, the world’s largest photo magazine, has become the second Bonnier title to launch its tablet edition to run on Apple’s iPad. Popular Photography+ is available now in the iTunes App Store for an initial introductory price of $2.99 per issue.
Popular Photography+ is built on Bonnier’s proprietary Mag+ platform for tablet devices, developed by Bonnier’s global R&D task force and BERG, a London-based design firm.

Skiing Business Launched — Fills Gap in Ski-Industry Reporting
Bonnier has launched Skiing Business, a new online publication committed to serving the ski industry through the analysis of news and trends. Skiing Business joins Bonnier’s mountain brands, including SKI, Skiing and SNOW magazines, Warren Miller Entertainment and NASTAR in the Boulder office.
Led by Ryan Dionne, Skiing Business will provide in-depth stories on the winter-sports industry. Through accurate, timely reporting, Skiing Business will focus on trends, expert advice, products, and the industry’s movers and shakers.

Carol Evans Kicks Off Working Mother 100 Best Companies Initiative on CNBC
Working Mother President Carol Evans appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box to reveal three qualities that make a company working-mom friendly, and to jumpstart the 2010 Working Mother 100 Best Companies inititiave. As the magazine celebrates 25 years of its 100 Best Companies list, it will once again feature the winners in its October issue. Corporate advertising for Working Mother’s October issue is up 17 percent, as compared to its October 2009 issue.

Marlin’s Charlie Levine Does Humanitarian Work in the Dominican Republic
Many of the world’s top fishing destinations in Central America, Africa, the Caribbean and Mexico are mired in unthinkable poverty. The goal of Reel Life Adventures, a nonprofit group, is to make a difference in the lives of the people locked in the grip of such hardship. Marlin’s senior editor, Charlie Levine, spent a week with a group of 13 Reel Life volunteers in the Dominican Republic in late July doing humanitarian work.
