Ana Connery and Rachel Fishman Feddersen to Head New Editorial Model for Parenting Group
Bonnier Corp.’s Parenting Group has restructured its editorial management team to focus on greater brand consistency across its multiple print and digital media platforms for moms. The group’s editorial content development will be led by co-directors Ana Connery, who will assume the role of director, print content, strategy & design, and Rachel Fishman Feddersen, who will become director, digital content, strategy & design.
The Parenting Group has also named Hervé Kwimo as the creative director. He will oversee the editorial design of each of the Parenting Group brands. Kwimo joins the Parenting Group from O, The Oprah Magazine, where he served as art director.
Most recently editor-in-chief of Babytalk magazine, Ana Connery has elevated the brand’s status as an essential resource for new moms in the year and a half she has been at its helm. Connery’s leadership and creativity has led to heightened visibility and consistent advertising gains for the 2 million circulation publication throughout 2010. Prior to her time at Babytalk, Connery served four-and-a-half years as editor-in-chief of the award-winning Bonnier Corp. publication Florida Travel + Life. Previous roles include senior editor at Cooking Light, senior lifestyle editor at Latina and senior editor of Fitness magazine.
Since joining the Parenting Group in 2007, Rachel Fishman Feddersen, as editor-in-chief of Parenting.com, has led the group’s digital development to record-breaking growth year after year. Fishman Feddersen was named Media Industry Newsletter’s Digital Content Strategist of the Year in 2010. Creating and editing websites since the mid-1990s, she began her online career as city editor at Citysearch.com and went on to hold the roles of senior editor at Family.com, launch editor of WhattoExpect.com, and award-winning site director of LadiesHomeJournal.com.
