Bonnier Corp. Expands Media Portfolio - Adds Book Publisher Weldon Owen
Bonnier announced this morning it has added Weldon Owen Publishing to its growing media operations. Weldon Owen is a leading book publisher, creating products for premier specialty retailers including Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn. We will now have a book division as we continue our rapid growth.
Many of you may be familiar with Weldon as they share an office with the Spa team and others in San Francisco. Weldon Owen was founded in 1986 and was formerly part of Bonnier Publishing in the UK.

Saveur Strikes It Big in 2009
While most magazines have taken a hit this year in advertising pages and revenue, Bonnier's own Saveur is sizzling. The title is up an amazing 26 percent in revenue over last year. And, just as remarkable, out of all magazines nationwide, it finished No. 2 in percentage of ad page growth.

QUE-ing It Up! New eReader for PopSci
A new eReader, called the QUE, will debut in January with custom-designed content from Bonnier's Popular Science. Produced by Plastic Logic, the QUE will provide customers with a special QUE edition of Popular Science directly from the QUE store.

The Intrigue of Anthony Licata
Field & Stream Editor-in-Chief Anthony Licata has been named one of the "21 most intriguing people of the year" by Media Industry Newsletter (MIN). According to MIN, the people on the list made a "lasting mark in their sphere of influence." MIN will celebrate the honorees, including Licata, at a breakfast awards presentation Dec. 9 in New York City.
